Context: I live in an area that is currently hot and humid, so my sweat probably has a lot to do with it. The nickel plate wears out very quickly, exposing the copper underneath. That the nickel or both reacts with something that creates this green substance that leaves marks on my skin and, as shown in the picture, on my shirt. Washes off the skin instantly, haven't tried washing the shirt yet but whether it's stained or not is none of my business. I want something that will keep its appearance and leave no trace. I'm looking for an alternative.
