These were great for traveling but also kind of a pain in the butt. My 8 year old could buckle and unbuckle himself just fine but my 6 year old really struggled with them. I’m pregnant so it was a pain to crawl in the back to help her. I would buy them again for traveling unless we’d be spending a significant amount of time in and out of the car. Then j think it’d be worth the hassle of bringing their big boosters. Both kids complained that they weren’t comfortable but they did the job, I felt like they were safe on the road, and they were easy to carry on our flight and have them ready to go for the rental car.
