This won't work unless you need to manually "mold" keys around the area you want to measure for. All the little teeth will hook and slide out together. You have to slide this probe around the area you're trying to get a reading for and then grab your other hand to push all of the teeth back into place as they all come out and stick together. It doesn't matter much, but you'll need to push any teeth that are sticking out on the sides back in while holding the probe around the area to get your reading. It was a cheap price but I think I could have bought one of the better ones as it doesn't work as intended.
