This eyepiece fits my Nikon D3300 - very comfortable, blocks light and allows me to look 360 with my left eye Rotating and rotating degrees perfectly suits the camera. The pivoting movement is nice and firm and stays in place without constant adjustment. Elastic, not hard, soft. I am very happy with my purchase and will likely be purchasing another one in the near future just to have a spare on hand. I would like to warn Nikon camera owners who use the DK-20C diopter adjustment on their cameras. This eyepiece does not slide over the diopter without adjusting the diopter itself to widen the grooves for the small side rails of the eyecup. I addressed this in an answer to one of the questions on the subject. Here's the solution if you're up to the challenge. . ." You may have already found a solution to this problem, an answer to your question, or decided to deal with it. I have both an answer and a solution so you don't have to deal with it. In Nikon accessories for users like You and I who need diopter correction I don't wear contact lenses and don't want to try to use my camera with glasses Thank god for the diopter range DK 20-C a new diopter the original eyepiece with a comfortable rubber rim no longer fits it looks like it should slide right over the new diopter but it doesn't The sides of the diopter that should fit into the grooves in your camera's eyepiece are too narrow for a flat eyecup that fits perfectly over the camera's eyepiece INSTEAD of the original eyecup with rubber gasket on it, but the diopter does not fit in. So you have the choice to use the diopter comfortably without the eyecup block the mouth or light, or forego diopters altogether and wear their own glasses. There is a third option when you are ready. You'll need a small, thin, thin file - thin enough to fit over the grooves on either side of the diopter lens. I used a file on a standard swiss army knife. It's perfect for the job. You have to work slowly and take your time, removing only enough of the plastic grooves to make them wide enough, just enough for the eyecup rim to slide right over the diopter. Of course, the same method can be used to reattach the original eyecup to a DK 20-C camera. Nikon is aware of this issue but doesn't seem burdened with that knowledge. I once had a long conversation with customer service. The agent suggested I look for a third party with an eyepiece option, which I did. But I assume third parties are copying Nikon's part sizes, so their diopters don't match Nikon's diopters either. The only Nikon accessory that REALLY works for diopter correction is the DK-5 eyepiece cover. Works perfectly! I have to say I really like this eyecup. It rotates 360 degrees and really blocks the light but is very comfortable. Just remember that you need to make the diopter adjustments I described.β
