Bought these to replace Wells-Lamonts which didn't last 3 days due to holes in my fingers and palm (3 pairs in 10 days). I put on these gloves and a Pitch Blend leather bandage. Apply immediately after processing red spruce wood. They spent an entire month fiddling with firewood and hauling fire hoses on wildfires. Yes, they got wet with water and sweat leaving a yellow cast on my hands that was easily removed with Lava hand soap. The gloves dried and remained elastic. These are work gloves, not for city shows. These are the first gloves I've used that have protected my hands from dust and red spruce splinters. Dexterity was sufficient for most ranch jobs. Yes, you can't pick or scratch your nose, but these are the best field gloves at a very reasonable price.
