Review on 🔊 Logitech Z906 5.1 Surround Sound Speaker System - THX, Dolby Digital, and DTS Digital Certified - Black by Shay Badger

I bought this Logitech system from Revain, good value for the money and due to a lot of misinformation and to help with common problems I have published a troubleshooting checklist. If the subwoofer has a power cord, make sure the cord is plugged into a working outlet and the power is on. Some speakers work: each wire is protected by a plastic sheath and barbed at the ends for electrical connection. Make sure the wires are making ACTUAL electrical contact with the metal brackets and are not pinched by the plastic sheath. The speakers suddenly stopped working: if there is a cat, dog, child, guest, etc. in your house and someone knocked out the wires without you looking, check the electrical connection. The speakers don't work. Continued: The main control panel has 6 different login options. For me, with 5.1 surround sound on the PC, I use input 1. However, make sure you select according to YOUR particular setup and that nobody changes the setting later. WARNING: You can accidentally press this switch when changing the volume. Popping noises or sudden pops: You have audio enhancement software installed and activated. For example, if you are using PowerDud, you must DISABLE audio enhancements to turn off pops and pops. Not Loud Enough: With speakers at 50% volume on the second floor of my house, my significant other is very unhappy because my speakers drown out her cooking shows downstairs. I can literally feel the bass on the floor and hear my system outside of my house. You need a system loud enough for neighbors to call the police: it's not your system. Buy a DXX receiver, NXX preamp and amplifier, and PXX speakers. Warranty expired and suddenly stopped working: My old system is over 10 years old and still working and why I bought this upgrade. You are pushing too hard, see above. Other: The man posted pictures of the wires he had badly attached to the disassembled speakers. I've posted another photo of the center speaker upside down in the left corner. I have military electronics experience, I have no idea what this person is doing. Just say NO to drugs.
