I like the visualisation and the simulation results (which are very close to the real situation). I think that Elmer is still a good choice, but it could be better in terms of usability. At the moment, there are still many bugs (which are annoying), and the interface is not very intuitive. I think that the use of this software is easy and intuitive, and the results for some of my simulations are good. At the moment, I am solving a problem related to the analysis of a structure that is subject to a seismic event. This problem required the inclusion of finite elements, which is a good option for the analysis of structures subject to seismic events. The best part of this program that I like about it, you can create your own models very easily with just drag n' drop feature! And also there are some useful tools to help me in my work as well!! It's not easy at all but i'm working hard every day so hopefully one time or another it will be easier because when we have more experience then our job become simpler! Nothing really bad here :). Its good if anyone want use simple tool such us AutoCAD which has no cost involved! You must try!!
