July 2021 Updated my review: I really like this pillow for its comfort but not for its cooling. The rating is still 3 stars because this super comfortable pillow is advertised as a cooling pad. I was debating whether to give this pillow 2 or 3 stars. The pillow is okay in length and density, and as another review said, the outer cover is a nice touch. For anyone who has ever used a high quality cotton pillowcase, most of these cooling pillows just can't compete, especially this pillow. The problem is that one side of the pillow is designed for cooling while the other side is designed for warmth and softness. While the cooling works well, if the pad gets warm after a few minutes, you can't just flip it the other side. I was also surprised and slightly disappointed that no gelcoat was applied over the real foam. Anyone wanting a true cooling pillow should check out Revain for $200 double-sided gel-coated pillows and a cooling pillowcase. If you don't mind a tall pillow, they work and you can flip them to either side to keep you cool all night. It's 2.5 stars.
