This drone is very easy to learn

This drone is very easy to learn. This is definitely a must-have for beginner drone pilots. Altitude hold allows the beginner to feel comfortable in the third dimension (up/down) without having to constantly twist the throttle to hold altitude. Headless mode works as expected. While I'm not a fan of the headless mode, having been flying for many years, it works and will help beginners get started. The auto takeoff/landing works well and the emergency stop works too, much to my chagrin when I accidentally pressed the button twice in 15ft. This little drone is very stable as there was no damage after falling 15ft on grass when I accidentally activated the emergency stop. I've learned that my depth perception isn't what it used to be when I crashed into a lamp post and a tree at almost full speed when I thought I was going around them. The battery popped out on impact and fell 20 feet to the concrete when I hit a lamp post. I put the battery back in, recalibrated the gyroscope, and was immediately airborne. I replaced a pair of rubber feet (four included) after skimming the ground at high speed or attempting a hot landing (I advise against that :-)) At maximum response/speed (there are 3 of them) it tends to Altitude drop at full forward travel. I suspect that the pressure sensor is not able to keep up with the speed/pitch of the drone. If you give it a little full throttle, you'll be moving at a constant altitude and speed, so you'll reach maximum range pretty quickly. one with trees, typical of any RC airplane. In any case, you can get far enough away that it becomes difficult to identify the front/back of the drone. The range also decreased significantly when the battery was almost completely empty. Both the out of range indicator and the low battery indicator (beep on the controller) work well. The 720p camera is pretty good, but as you'd expect at this price point, fast movements get you pixelated and choppy, and low-light video is very grainy. Don't forget to stop the video from your phone before turning off the drone, otherwise you will lose part of your video (it is saved in chunks of around 2MB on the SD card). t takes 8-10 minutes as advertised. I get 6-6.5 minutes in moderate flight with prop guards and 7-7.5 without them. It behaves a little strange with the protective covers removed, so I put them back on and added a few more batteries to my collection.
