Very soft and light to the touch. Definitely summer stuff. It is furnished in a typical Asian style. I am intrigued by the fit and material and wish they had additional colors that I could purchase. Note. I haven't washed the shirts yet, so I can't comment on that. Edit** I have this shirt in three colors: black, gray and blue. If composition is important to you, please note that the gray and blue shirts are not 100% cotton. They should contain all or some of the synthetic components, depending on how they stretch, hold static, etc. A black shirt may well be 100% cotton.
