We wanted a chair for our second son's nursery that wasn't very expensive because we had a nice big chair in his brother's room who would eventually be moving. This chair ticks all the boxes. It's comfortable and narrow enough to make it pretty easy to breastfeed my newborn in it. The pillows aren't that thick, but I don't plan on sitting in a chair for hours, so I don't think that would be a problem. The ottoman slips when I lift my legs to hold the baby up, so I have to turn it sideways to keep it steady, but that doesn't matter. I like pockets on the sides to put my pain in while sitting. After all, they sure are good for books too! I assembled the chair in about 30 minutes at 38 weeks so it's not that hard and the chair is pretty light so I wasn't worried about hurting myself or the baby. The first order I ordered was broken, but Revane was quick. to replace it with a new one.
