This collar and matching leash would be the perfect complement to our Fisher Jo girls outfit. Her first outing was on Memorial Day weekend. Can't wait to use it for July 4th and Labor Day. Sturdy collar with strong stitching and a strong metal ring for attaching a leash. The plastic bar is held together. This is my third collar from this manufacturer and I continue to like it. Attention: my dog likes to dig in the mud and the collars get dirty within a week. Normal washing by hand, in the dishwasher or washing machine did not help me. Here's what works: In a small bucket, I mixed 1 tbsp. Liquid Dawn 5x, 1/2 cup bleach, 1/2 cup baking soda with 4 cups water. Leave to soak for 10 minutes. Then brush the lighting with a medium-bristled toothbrush. Leave to soak for another 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and let dry in the sun. Bleach made whites whiter and did not affect other colors. I've tried this on all three of my collars and they look brand new. Material: I would love to see something with a nautical theme from this brand. You won't be disappointed if you buy one of these!
