Works but not at a low level
This works fine unless you're really trying to dry the wood. In the Pine settings it will be no less than 4.1%. I put it in wetter wood, then in drier wood, and the reading slowly drops 1/10% at a time until it hits 4.1% and then immediately goes to 0.
