I was expecting another one of these tripods with a remote release. What I got was a completely different experience. This product is IDEAL for people who have switched from bulky and heavy DSLR/Bridge cameras to mobile phones as the main camera. It's essentially a plastic handle that gives my hands a very comfortable and familiar feel. The shutter was a breeze and when combined with the included tripod/monopod I found it great for photographing nature or myself without having to use the phone's 10 second timer. Never run into the frame again! I wish there was a cord or something attached to the trigger as it can easily slip out of my hands and be lost forever rendering the device *almost* useless. Also, the tripod mount doesn't fit as tightly as I'd like, especially when the phone is designed for those crazy telephoto lenses. Also note that I have small hands (I wear medium sized adult gloves). For people with large hands, the handle may seem too small. Speaking of telephoto, I tried using the 20x snap-on lens on my Pixel 3 and saw a significant reduction in motion blur when using this product. The extra surface area for my hands made the teleplatform much more stable. The instructions were clear. Bluetooth pairing was easy. The device has a power saving feature where it goes into sleep mode and then turns off to conserve battery power. I look forward to taking this with me on my next trip. I feel like a photographer again!
