Review on Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge 64GB Smartphone by Firash Smark

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything about the purchase suits me, a very necessary product.

I chose a phone to replace my Google Nexus 4, which, after 3 years of service, began to lose the network, turn off and generally ask for retirement. Impressions and remarks: 1. The screen is of course just cosmic. Eyes rejoice in juicy and bright colors, the size of 5.1 inches is "what you need". 2. Because of the bent edges, the phone sits in the hand. Unusually. And unusual. The ends are quite narrow and unaccustomed to cut into the hand. The usual "flat" S6 sits more comfortably in the hand. 3. The "curved" screen itself is rather a thing for the sake of image and design. Of course, it looks VERY cool, but in general it's useless :-) By the way, the bent edges on the street on a sunny day glare a lot, forming flare along the edges of the screen. It doesn't bother me, it's just a fun fact. 4. The speaker is located on the bottom end of the phone - when watching a video, it is often closed by hand. 5. Not very capacious battery is compensated by the presence of fast charging and wireless charging. 6. The previous Nexus buttons "Back, Home, Applications" were on-screen, here they are touch-sensitive on the case. On the one hand, there is more space on the screen, on the other hand, you want to grab the free space to the left and right of the "Home" button, but you can't :-) You have to get used to it again. 7. You also need to get used to the "Back" button, which is now to the right of the "Home", and not to the left. 8. It is very convenient to launch the camera by double clicking on the "Home" button. In the bottom line - a very good phone, just stuffed with all possible technologies. Want Quick Charge? Please! Why do you need an infrared port? Get it! It felt like the competition was left behind in every way, leaving me to choose between the S6 and S6 Edge. The "flat" version sits more comfortably in the hand, the "curved" one looks cooler. I thought for a long time which one to take from this pair, and in my case the design won ergonomics :-)

Pros
  • 1. Appearance (I have white). Round edges give the phone a very unusual look. It attracts attention, everyone wants to hold and touch. 2. Great screen. Juicy picture, high resolution. 3. Excellent performance. One of the fastest smartphones on the market. 4. Cool camera. 5. Support for all (or almost all) possible technologies that are available today (fingerprint, fast charging, wireless charging, contactless payment, heart rate sensor, etc.) 6. Nice materials. Real metal, glass - Gorilla Glass 4. 7. Other little things (which are not even advantages, but just features) will be described below.
Cons
  • 1. The battery could be a little more capacious. 2. A fairly large amount of pre-installed junk that just can not be removed. 3. Other little things (which are not even shortcomings, but just features) will be described below.
