New windows were installed in my house and these blinds fit perfectly. I have a very "curious" Weimaraner who destroyed all the Venetian style blinds in the house and literally tried to look inside. My first impression was the durability of the t-shirt and how dry it felt. Hardware stores have similar products that cost 2-3 times more. They don't drop the top like more expensive blinds do. This is just my experience. Yours may be different. Now they are all over my house and I wouldn't hesitate to buy more if I had to.
