Purple is attractive as a scarf or shawl. It's good.
It is light, airy and translucent. At least one of the reviewers didn't believe it was silk. I have many silk scarves. It definitely feels and drapes like silk. An attractive summer scarf for the price that is a real bargain. It's light enough to wear on warm summer evenings. It adds a nice touch of color. I am very happy with it.
