This docking station and hub cannot remain on and/or power attached SATA or USB devices all the time. SATA drives in particular don't seem to stay firmly attached to the power and data connector at the bottom of the slot; they swing around. I would recommend that users get used to their drives fitting tightly into the slot. Despite this, the drive still keeps powering off, resulting in Windows constantly ejecting and reconnecting the drive. If you want to store large amount of data on disk in this thing, it will break and get corrupted! I wish I had used it quickly when it arrived but I left it in the box too long to get a return/refund. It's garbage. On the other hand, my Sabrent SATA cross case is absolutely solid.
