I like this tape because it's not as sticky as low tack masking tape. Even if it sticks to itself, it easily comes off and straightens out again. I bought this tape a few months ago and have not used more than one roll as the tape strips are reusable. I peel the paint off the tape and use the same strips of tape over and over again. I stopped counting the number of times I'd reused a strip of tape after coming seven times. I love that I can reuse it because it reduces the amount of plastic tape I throw away and saves money on buying more interesting art supplies. Time. On the weekends, I like to prepare next week's coloring paper by taping each of my pieces of paper onto a stack of thin canvases that I ordered for this purpose. But sometimes I don't draw as much as I thought I would, and my finished paper sits in my drawer for two (or three) weeks. Even after being on paper for so long, I still have no issues with duct tape tearing my paper, unlike painter's tape and painter's tape, which can become stickier over time. It holds my pictures well even when I use wet wash. However, knowing I'm going to use a lot of water, I add an extra layer of tape around the edges to offset the pressure the spacer paper puts on the tape. I would say, that this tape has better adhesion than most washi tapes, but slightly less than masking tape. After trying a few cartridges I found it to be the perfect balance of being too sticky and not sticky enough. This tape is also good for holding the tracing paper on the light table. And it's great for creating labels. Permanent markers write beautifully on this tape and the ink doesn't smudge once it's dried. I will buy more when they run out. And it's great for creating labels.
