What a disappointment. I chose a well-known brand, thinking that I would be golden. The actual part with the heating wires has less surface area than the heating blanket I am replacing. Plenty of unheated space on the sides, top and bottom. Even at level 10, the heat is unevenly distributed and takes a long time to heat up, with some spots very hot and most spots cold. A very thin blanket through which I can feel the wires. I feel like the princess on the pea - I only feel the wires, not the soft blanket. Also, the control box and where it plugs in are oddly related. Lots of cable from the duvet to the wall, the control box comes straight off the wall mount, and the cable is so short it needs to be next to my bed and at my feet on the floor. Very uncomfortable.
