was damaged I have only been using this product for a few days. The one I received is dark grey, not white (product image is/was white with gray underside). It's smaller than I expected. I'm using it with Linux Mint based on version 14.04 of Ubuntu. It was plug and play. No setup required. I use it for Google Hangouts when I need to switch from headset to speakerphone. For the price I paid it works very well. There are no volume controls on the device, so you must use your computer's controls to adjust the volume and microphone input level. For less than ten dollars, this device works very well.
