Amazing super cheap speakerphone

I like these and they are on every computer in the office; They're perfect for Skype, the sound is great, the footprint is tiny, and the cost is amazing. A+++ I use them mostly with Windows Vista and 7 and mostly with Skype, although they work for all audio inputs and outputs. The echo cancellation is very good, the sound is loud and clear. I have volume and mute controls on my keyboard so I don't skip them on the device itself; This would be a nice feature but would incur additional costs.

Pros
  • Hear and be heard loud and clear with this portable plug and play USB speakerphone kit.
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Plug and play on Linux.

was damaged I have only been using this product for a few days. The one I received is dark grey, not white (product image is/was white with gray underside). It's smaller than I expected. I'm using it with Linux Mint based on version 14.04 of Ubuntu. It was plug and play. No setup required. I use it for Google Hangouts when I need to switch from headset to speakerphone. For the price I paid it works very well. There are no volume controls on the device, so you must use your computer's controlsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Includes USB speakerphone and earpiece.

Cheap in every respect

Also for this price I can't give more than 2 stars. Installation was easy and Windows installed the drivers with no problems, that's where the good stuff ends I have to say. The quality of the call from the speaker is just awful, you have to crank all the volume controls to the max to even hear anything, but the clarity of the sound is lacking. The same quality issues apply to the mic: you need to get the best out of the mic and shout into it so people can hear you, and what they hear is devoid

Pros
  • AIMPhoneline, Skype, Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger and Google Talk.
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Great little device!

This little speakerphone does exactly what it says on the tin. And just what I needed. I use it in my home office for use with my VoIP softphone. The company's recommended solution is to use a headset, but that can be annoying if you're on a half-day conference call (yes, even a BT headset will become obsolete after a few hours). This little box is perfect. Just plug in. it to your USB and you're done. All I had to do was calibrate my VoIP software for spkr and mic levels. I've asked people onโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Note: MV100 is not compatible with Microsoft Windows Vista and Mac OS 10.3.9 or higher!
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Exactly what I needed!

I needed a solution that would allow me to use Google Chat for conferencing without a headset. I don't like it when I can't hear what's going on around me for long periods of time. Also, I didn't want to invest a lot of money in something that will only be used a few times a week. I found it, bought it and did a clearance sale. It's simple, affordable, and very portable when needed. There was no setup for me, I just opened the package and plugged it into my computer. As soon as I opened Googleโ€ฆ

Works well, plug and play with Windows 7

I was concerned after reading reviews that said it didn't work with Windows 7. It worked perfectly for me. I did NOT have to reboot to get it working. Plugged it in, Windows recognized it and it worked! I have a new Sony Vaio with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. The Sony audio is not very loud and there have been many reviews of using the microphone on Skype. I tried a new speaker which worked fine but didn't solve the microphone issue. I bought it from Revain to try. I am impressed. The speaker
