I can never have them at home! They are great for scaring away unwanted bugs and critters! Once I had a little problem, but after processing our house I invested in such containers and it was great! I use them for all dry stuff like pasta, muesli, granola, spices. (sugar, flour, etc.) I even put individually wrapped snacks in another set to keep them fresh! I've also used the smaller ones in my kids playroom for little pieces that are a little hard for a toddler to hit which makes it perfect! I no longer have to worry about opening a crappy container and spilling it or putting things in my mouth. It's more convenient than most people think! I bought this a few months ago and the airtight seal still works as it should! My muesli and cornflakes are still crunchy and not stale! The insects and critters couldn't get through which means there's no food for them, so they stopped coming! Another thing I love about them is that they help keep my panties clean and in shape. I like that they are clear, I can label them as needed. They should be a kitchen necessity for all households! The quality is very good, strong durable plastic with a nice lockable lid that is actually airtight. large enough to hold a variety of noodles without having to snap the ends or snap in half. Half a bag of muesli fits in the largest. If I were to buy smaller bags, I'm sure I could fit everything. Anyway, they're great for all kinds, not just the kitchen. Try it in your playroom or workshop! It is necessary!
