This review is about sleeping bags not curved top beds. My cat crawls into my backpack or under my sheet to sleep every chance I get, so I bought this as a spare to keep my other stuff from the wrath of her claws. I've had it for about two weeks now and I see her snoozing in it every day so I'd call it a huge hit. She's still sleeping in it even now as I write this review. It's soft and thick and seems well stitched, so I'm not worried about durability at all. The pictures might be a little deceiving - mine definitely doesn't open up that much in the front. The front opening is approximately 12 inches wide and 2 inches high at center when left alone, just enough for a cat to crawl through. In fact, it's probably better for my cat because she tends to curl up in the enclosed space she's hiding in. Basically it's a sleeping bag for creatures that can't zip up.
