The best "pseudo-mechanical " keyboard

At the beginning of the review I would like to tell you why I bought this keyboard. I'm a fast typist and I've found that the membrane keyboard isn't for me because I missed so many keys during my crazy typing. While researching keyboards, I realized that a mechanical keyboard, mostly standard cherry mx keyboards, would probably solve this problem. The problem was that I didn't need a keyboard that was too loud (because I often attend school conferences) and I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars either. This Steelseries Apex 3 was my experiment with a membrane keyboard that mimicked the feel of mechanical keyboards in many ways. Here are my findings. shades. The management software is extremely convenient and doesn't take time to change it whenever I want. You can change it to keep the same color, change colors with a custom time, or just turn the color off entirely. In the upper right corner there is a nice roller that adjusts the volume. Next to this clip is a button that controls the audio to pause, play, fast forward, and rewind. This is one of my favorite features of this keyboard since I transcribe a lot of audio. The volume and pause/play functions have changed my daily life. The buttons are very convenient. I had to admit that I had to adjust the size of the keys a bit. They're a bit thinner than I'm used to (laptop keyboards) but I quickly got used to it and found I like this size better. There is a small gap between the keys. I know some people might not like this feature and would rather lock their keys together. Just something to think about before you buy. There is a small extendable stand on the back of the keyboard that allows you to tilt it. It's rubber coated so it won't scratch the table. In addition, the keyboard came with a detachable magnetic wrist rest. I never take off the rest because it's nice and practical to have. However, it is very convenient to be able to solve it so easily. Overall, I really like this keyboard and its design. I believe it is built with very good design and details. I will update my review in the coming months if anything changes.
