Although I preferred a larger model, I settled on this one because it was less expensive and smaller in size. It's a decision I haven't yet come to regret. The music sounds fantastic, and the production values are superb. You obtain a subwoofer if you stand it on end in a corner. We can attest from personal experience that if you want high-quality sound, it's worth it to shell out the money for the name brand once and listen to it for a long time rather than settling for a cheaper alternative that is "no worse" than JBiL.
