I really wanted to like this. I really did. But I feel a little disappointed. What I like: It's a good range of colors and Playdoh is always soft and happy. The roller and the "stamp" are easy to use. And it's nice. What I don't like: It's covered in small tool molds. They are small enough and deep enough that I highly doubt many children will be able to push the playdoh in and successfully remove it without destroying the design. My son can't do it at all. Even on my best attempts, most tools, jackhammers, and the like were slightly deformed when I removed them. Larger forms would be much less problematic. Also, the back of the cement mixer will open up, and along with a small extruder, a decent open space will appear. It would be great if this could be used as storage but alas. It doesn't even match the stamp. There you can keep a container of plasticine, but no more. It looks like a waste of space. If it were just a little bigger it could be really useful. As a mom who already owns a lot of Playdoh accessories, I would be very happy.
