Great for embroidery
I usually use whatever needle I can find to embroider, but I take embroidery classes and I've had real problems with needle eyes breaking or big eyes that they made gaping holes in my tissue. I bought these needles and there is such a big difference - the eye is really long but narrow so you can thread 6 threads through it, but the needle is so thin (and sharp) that it can easily be pierced through fabric - and I use very dense cotton fabric. I love her! I can also easily get DMC #5 pearl wool through my eyes. They are quite short - size #24 is 1 1/4 inches long.
