It's lightweight, the box it came in said it was 9.5 lbs. The flannel is soft, not scratchy. We pulled it out to examine before we go camping and I'm quite happy. My wife will be sleeping in it with our two little ones when we go camping. There's plenty of room for the 3 of them. We plan to bring extra blankets with us for our destination in case we need them but it seems cozy enough as is. The sleeping bag comes with a bag but the bag doesn't have any handles. It came with two small pillows too that we'll have our little kids use since they wouldn't do me or my wife much good- fyi they don't fit in the bag with the sleeping bag. *Will update after camping trip, roughly 2 months time*
