Great bowls! I cooked oatmeal in it and reheated the rest of the stew. They are beautiful and deep, the colors are pleasant, but the yellow is somehow strange, there are a lot of dark spots, the red is more pink, but pleasant. I wish they had made fall colors - burnt orange - tan, medium cranberry and muted gold - I would use them all year round - love warm colors! We also bought matching plates, rimmed edges are good, especially if you have gravy or spaghetti sauce, they stay on the plate. We avoid purple but our granddaughter is fine lol
