Saved my new mattress, I had to buy a new mattress because my dog decided to urinate on my mattress pad and there was no way to get the smell out. So I had to buy a new mattress and I bought this waterproof mattress pad and sure enough my damn dog peed on my bed again but my new mattress was saved! I washed it and it's back on my bed! So if you have young children who have an accident in your bed or a dog who can't pee on your bed, you need to invest in one of these. I had another version a while ago and I washed it and it just ruined it and it didn't stop the liquid from seeping through. I am very happy with this purchase.
