Quite large and holds up well. The big problem is how easily the gray paint scratches. I don't insult my tie pins at all, but these are small bits of content that will peel off the paint - be careful not to accidentally stick the magnet to your face! Not so long ago it cracked noticeably. Not bad but I was hoping for the price it would be better
