I actually just recently reviewed the larger AA version of these, so I'll repeat the important part that I like about them which applies to these as well:Unlike standard rechargeable batteries that can be had for a similar price, these will output a full 1.5v for a much longer amount of time. Rechargeables like NiMH batteries will start at 1.25v and go down from there, which means your device will lose adequate voltage faster. In fact, some components looking for the full 1.5 of an alkaline battery will report the battery is already low with a rechargeable, since it is starting off with less voltage. But NOT with these! These will push the full 1.5v expected of this size cell for a much longer amount of time, and not require being changed nearly as often. Great for things like remote controls, self-powered microphones, thermostats, and other things that you'd want to "set it and forget it". Excellent power in a small size.
