I've been using this mic with my speech recognition program (Dragon NaturallySpeaking Professional) for about a month. I've been very happy with the performance - it's comfortable to wear and recognizes my speech accurately (it's paired with an Andrea USB sound card). I used a Sennheiser microphone before and I like Audio-Technica better. The Audio-Technica's accuracy is as good as the Sennheiser's in my experience, but costs less than half the price, and the connection between the Audio-Technica's microphone and the Andrea's sound card isn't as capricious (I've had major problems using this with my old Sennheiser microphone which had to be plugged into the Andrea USB sound card "just right" or the connection would fail). The only thing I would like to point out was a surprise with this product, the size of the actual mic - it's bigger than I expected and when the foam windscreen is placed on top of the mic it's almost like a ping pong ball in front of the mic . your mouth. I'm exaggerating (a little), but it took some getting used to. But I've also come to the conclusion that if I wear a mic over my headphones at work, I almost stop worrying about looking like I'm working in Command Control. All that matters is that the product works and works well and certainly fits the bill.
