I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.
I took it as a street option. At first I was upset, because the sound was oversaturated with bass booms, the middle was blurred and there were no high frequencies. After warming up, the situation changed dramatically. Everything fell into place. The sound pleases, for the street what I wanted. I listen with Fiio X3, iPod classic, for this money ($5) I didn't expect anything like that. At home there is Akg k271, k141, Sennheiser hd515, so there is something to compare. Take it and you will be happy.
