This is my third OBD scanner and quite frankly the best. The first thing I really like is the Wi-Fi connection, previous scanners I had to connect to the PC for updates. It connects via the shop's Wi-Fi and makes it very easy for you to update the software, add your own automaker's features as needed and keep the tool up to date and ready for the future. Let yourself be spun in circles, it's a very intuitive interface similar to using your smartphone. These are all on screen buttons, a handy navigation menu with a permanent BACK button in the top left corner. I've never seen an OBD scanner I could pick up without a manual and confidently navigate the first time. So it performs the obvious and expected on-board diagnostic check on your vehicle, but it can also communicate with the TCM, ABS and SRS systems to read and clear codes stored in fault memory. It also enables real-time data transfer, you can select items from a list available for your specific vehicle and select multiple items to be overlaid on an on-screen graph and streamed. You can then zoom in on the graph to enlarge it while manipulating the throttle stick to view various sensor data. Another really nice feature is the ability to create a real-time PDF report right here and have that PDF sent to your store's email address. . And once you enter that email address, any other PDF reports you request will be auto-populated with that business email address, so they can be easily sent (over your business's WiFi) to a PC, to print and share with the customer. You can view emissions readiness, sensor data stream, read and clear codes, report trouble codes found, perform a full vehicle system health check and generate reports, reset maintenance settings, and more. All this in a very intuitive interface that makes using the tool easy and effortless. I am very impressed. Please note that this is not a professional level two-way communication system where you can request cylinder deactivation or manually control the vehicle's sensors or systems in any way, it only reads and clears. You usually have to spend at least a few thousand dollars to get access to bi-directional control systems like your dealer system or snap-on can. But for home and small business use this is a truly amazing tool that gives you many functions for almost every electronic system in the car.
