The best wallet I've ever had, I just wish I had more to fill it with.

Summary: I absolutely love this wallet and would highly recommend it to anyone when it comes to wallets. Long Review: As a child, my father was always a dichotomous person, and I assumed I was, too. Until I got my first wallet and fell in love with the trifold design. Cards on both sides, ID in the middle and plenty of room for all that cash I seem to have run out of so quickly. The only complaint I had was the thickness, but I've learned to live with that and this trifold wallet has served me well for a good 10 years. Fast forward about a year ago when my wallet was showing its age and I knew I needed an upgrade. My friend recommended the latest creation from his wallet creators, EZGO. He had one of her hard plastic wallets, but I eyed her new leather wallet. I ordered it and loved the slim design that allowed it to fit in my front pocket. I will no longer be uncomfortable moving around on long car journeys or sitting at my desk for long periods, instead my wallet shared a pocket with my Galaxy S7 with an Otterbox case and I had free space. It had almost every card I've had before (and I was still able to lose some weight), and without the bulge in my back pocket I was able to show my mediocre butt. However, this wallet failed the test. Time. Within a few months the card slot liner (which is designed to block the RFID pullers) came loose and within 9 months it was loose and preventing me from inserting cards unless I put my finger in the slot to hold the liner. Path. I wasn't too keen on the cash storage solution either. The bills had to be folded twice (increasing their thickness by four times) and placed in a resilient elastic pouch on one side of the wallet. In just a few 20s and 1s, the thickness of the wallet quickly doubled, and to take a smaller-denomination bill the entire wad had to be pulled out and unwrapped to find one's wealth (or lack thereof) throughout the subway to demonstrate line. Then I found this. Fossil Wallet and I think I found Wallet Nirvana my friends. With four times as many card slots as my old wallet, I was able to store my credit and debit cards in one, my ID card in another, the rest of my membership/library/discount cards in a third, and my RFID door key to work in the last one. I no longer have to pull out a whole stack to get a card, everything is neatly organized and really no thicker than before. And a money clip, oh money clip! The magnet is strong enough and I felt my bag detach from my leg as I approached the metal door, it's great. It only takes one fold of my bills to slide them under the little latch and I can even store my bills in separate folds based on denomination so someone could see I have 100 but they won't necessarily know it is only one is 100, not four as I claim. The black leather is sleek, smooth, and fairly durable (it survived a 20-foot throw into concrete with a few scuffs on the bottom corners, don't ask). It fits in the same place as my old wallet and is only slightly thicker due to the magnetic money clip, but it's worth it. My dad just got a new purse for Father's Day, a new double. I smiled and congratulated him on his new accessory while inwardly rejoicing in my infinitely better wallet. Maybe I'll rebuild it at some point.
