
I was cheap and got this wrong. They have some padding that helps with housework (I did the floor laying and cleaning) but the straps go into the knee pads and irritate the knees. I also got the top strap stuck at the back of my knee so I had to take it off because it wasn't that stable and was slipping. If you're doing a small project, it's better not to wear knee pads than to wear one. If you're doing a lengthy project, it's worth spending $25 on a good pair.
