You need this if you hate TVs

I got one of these in the early 2000's and found it very handy for shutting down those idiot boxes that bang loudly in most establishments. After the battery died and my ex stole it, I forgot about it all until I ended up at the doctor's office with a LOUD TV that no one saw (oddly enough people have these amazing phones to talk to now) and kept myself away from it off to read my book. I wanted to drown it out - and that's when I came up with this little invention! While I wish it would let me mute or change channels (others do but don't ship Prime and have low ratings/require special programming), and to make it run faster (it can take up to 62 seconds to find the right channel). TV model code, at this point you need to point it at the specified TV) it's worth having a small device in your pocket that I can use to turn off annoying TVs in bars, doctor's offices, etc. that only serve as a distraction . or annoy. word of warning; Many bars have TV remotes behind them so you'll find the TVs come back on, but if you turn them off sufficiently you'll enjoy the staff wondering why the TVs are 'broken'. Just be careful! Many bars have TV remotes behind them so you will find the TVs come back on but if you turn them off enough, you'll enjoy the staff wondering why TVs are "broken". Just be careful!
