Battery life is excellent so far, the sound is loud and clear enough for a small speaker. Wearable around the house and yard. Update July 20, 2018 The speaker will not charge or turn on when unplugged. Now it's useless as a portable speaker. It has only been used indoors and has not been exposed to water. An internet search turned up many people with this problem. Update July 31, 2018 Emailed to UE Support on July 29, 2018 via their website. Still no answer. Update 2 August 2018 Call UE support. They asked for a serial number. They then immediately offered to exchange the device via RMA and a UPS shipping label. You seem to know that some of these devices are buggy. Returned the device and am still waiting for the RMA process to complete.
