Review on LED Reflective Belt Rechargeable Lightweight by Melvin Goerge

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Only lights up your back OR front and is too big/loose for this adult woman.

The belt is too big even when fully adjusted - I am a grown female with a 29 inch waist. I doubt it affects children. When the buckle is in the front, which is the natural position, the front LED is off AT ALL - only your back is lit. You cannot see any cars approaching you. You have to wear it with a buckle on the side, which is inconvenient, and then it will light up on one side or the other of your body while the other side is dark. Just weird. The USB cable for charging is very short and we have an old house with outlets near the floor which means the straps are on the floor because the cable is too short to reach a bookshelf or table etc. Finally, the strap is very stiff, which would only be uncomfortable in the summer on bare skin in a crop top or running bra. Pooh. To be honest, the flashing light is VERY bright. But I just don't find it that practical. I'm going back to my battery operated Velcro bandages.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Poorly thought out
