Not bad, but the landing is strange, a lot of walking, slippery.

I bought this because I go for a late evening walk, so the second half of my walks it often gets dark and there are no sidewalks. an hour's walk and it's bright enough to see but nothing spectacular. The problem is in the group. I'm 6ft 1in, 225lbs, waist 38. I have to stretch the strap to its max setting and it's still tight. It also doesn't stay in place, it slides up and down on your stomach! I have to keep pushing it down to my waist or it will end up halfway to my stomach! that it is wide…

  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Good but not great

Only lights up your back OR front and is too big/loose for this adult woman.

The belt is too big even when fully adjusted - I am a grown female with a 29 inch waist. I doubt it affects children. When the buckle is in the front, which is the natural position, the front LED is off AT ALL - only your back is lit. You cannot see any cars approaching you. You have to wear it with a buckle on the side, which is inconvenient, and then it will light up on one side or the other of your body while the other side is dark. Just weird. The USB cable for charging is very short and we

The belt is too small to fit "the whole family " as advertised.

First off, this belt looks solid and is made of quality materials. However: 1) The customer is shown images of the Color Guard style harness - two straps crossing the back (and chest) to form an "X". The ad doesn't say the buyer has to buy 2 straps for this, bringing the cost to nearly $40. The ad also has pictures of just one belt but no requirement that the buyer must buy 2 belts if they want an X belt. 2) The belt is advertised as "The whole family can wear it as it fits men, women and…

Not very impressed.

Not impressed with the brightness of the belt. It only has two modes: it burns constantly at a relatively low level and very short, almost imperceptible flashes once a second. It uses a slide switch on the side of the battery case instead of a button that can be hard to find when carried and placed in position. A very small, hard-to-see red LED indicates charging status and turns green when the battery is fully charged. The green LED is clearly visible and works well. The lack of any…

Bright, good battery life

I took two of these lights (red and blue) to clip to my backpack while I ride my electric skateboard when the sun isn't there seems . I cut off most of the elastic waistband and sewed on new loops with D-clips on both ends. Now they can be easily installed and removed from my backpack. They are light and I don't notice them at all. I left a fully charged flashlight on for 3.5 hours and didn't wait for the battery to die. I don't know how long they last (no flashing), but >3.5 hours means I…

Excellent product, excellent service - highly recommend

What a great product! Lightweight and well constructed. Fully charged, you can use it as a flashlight on your darkest walks! Be prepared for people to stop you as the color blue draws attention! It's also very visible when it's on, but you can improve that visibility by turning on the flashing mode. Recharging takes a decent 2+ hours on the same charge (more on that later). I couldn't put it on my shoulder and chest like a shoulder strap without an extension, but it fits comfortably over my…

Beautiful seat belt. Highly recommended.

Edit: 1 year later. I really can't recommend it enough. This belt is great and I feel much more confident in it. I ride my unicycle home from work, often in the dark. Crossing a major intersection was quite scary; Cars just don't look for pedestrians (or unicycles)! I needed more visibility than the headlights on my bike provide. I bought 2 of these. I wrapped one around my backpack and lit my back. Another I modified by shortening the strap and then wrapping it around the front of my helmet. I
