Review on LED Reflective Belt Rechargeable Lightweight by Cee Pouncy

Edit: 1 year later. I really can't recommend it enough. This belt is great and I feel much more confident in it. I ride my unicycle home from work, often in the dark. Crossing a major intersection was quite scary; Cars just don't look for pedestrians (or unicycles)! I needed more visibility than the headlights on my bike provide. I bought 2 of these. I wrapped one around my backpack and lit my back. Another I modified by shortening the strap and then wrapping it around the front of my helmet. I used double sided tape to secure it in place. My son says I "look like a complete geek" in a helmet. Like some weird guy from the future you see in movies. But I guess I'm pretty much a geek riding an electric unicycle! So if you're a geek, go all the way and own it! As already mentioned, only the strip in the middle lights up. The elastic band at both ends has a reflective strip but is not illuminated. The lighted portion is 17 inches long and 1 inch wide; It is mounted on a heavy 2 inch wide nylon canvas. As can be seen in the picture, it shines with a continuous light band, the individual LEDs are not visible. It can light up continuously or flash. I think blinking is good for attracting attention - good for crossings. I chose green because it's not a normal lighting color to see it better. Red matches many existing lights (taillights).
