I wore it once in the rain and it worked wonderfully. However, I don't know how it will hold up over a longer period of time in the rain. I got a lot of extras when wearing it to work. Wearing it in contact with your skin for any length of time will likely get you hot and sticky, but that's what you get with this type of material. It has straps to pull up the sweatshirt and the bottom of the coat to better protect you from the rain. There are small flaps on the pockets but I'm not sure if they really keep anything dry. Comes with a cute little storage bag. All in all I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice cheap rain jacket.
