I've worked up to 1 mile in my pool, I love fins but I've had floating long fins from different manufacturers (Sporti, Speedo etc) and the last pair ripped off a patch of skin from my toe and a blister in the bursitis area. So I always had full fins. This time I tried these adjustable open heel fins and #FitsT4Sports neoprene socks (ASIN: B07SZBX4CJ) and WOW! WHAT A BIG IMPROVEMENT! Since then I've swum a mile and could have swum more, but my leg and arm muscles urged me not to. Another advantage of these fins over the previous ones I've had over the years is that I don't feel cramps in my legs and no discomfort in my knees. I think the design allows me a better hitting technique. Wonderful!
