durable without durable?

Compared to ZAGG's rugged keyboard case, which is six years older, this new ZAGG keyboard case fails to live up to reality. this ho-hum at its best. its rough design and it is not durable. it's just expensive. Compared to the other, much older ZAGG "rugged" keyboard cases, this product doesn't look or feel/act solid, but again it's what I expected it to be. This sleeve turns the iPad Pro into a laptop that falls apart at the seam of the screen and keyboard. and it will really fall apart at that seam if you are not careful enough. This update includes photos to make it easier for you to see new and old comparisons. there is also a photo of the new case for the new Apple Pencil. This new pencil can also be seen in this picture. * a star loss due to the deteriorated protection of the iPad * another star loss due to an imperfect design that makes the case much less comfortable to use, especially when you are on the go. * The third star is lost as the ZAGG keyboard protection is getting worse and worse. Both old and new keyboards require careful handling and attention lest they become unusable; However, with the old ZAGG rugged case, you have much better options for protecting your keyboard and putting it away when you don't need it. Incredibly, those features are lost with this new case. more. I'm comparing it to my first ZAGG rugged keyboard case for the iPad Air 2. It's six years old and a real iPad goes well with this case. new condition. Apple should literally pay me to put this device in their vintage gadgets museum. there is no scratch on it. and I'm a careless rude user. The keyboard on the case isn't outstanding, but it still works. The protection of the old case seems to have earned the ZAGG "protected" label. In comparison, this new case looks more like a scam taking advantage of loyal customers than another case from ZAGG that deserves the 'reliable' label. The class is bigger. I think I have to be a lot more careful and hope for the best. I definitely paid for it. I will not use any other ZAGG product without prior verification. The design of the older ZAGG keyboard case is much better. This allows you to turn the cover inside out like a paperback. He's quite capable of it and designed for it. The new ZAGG case is completely incapable of this. They can only imitate an open book, but run the risk of falling apart in the binding. This new "durable" ZAGG keyboard case is designed for the Apple iPad 2020+ Pro. the body is made of different materials and i don't question the different materials. it is design. it does not provide protection for the device. If the case is open and the portion of the case containing the iPad should fall off the tabletop, you can expect catastrophic damage to the device. This case does not adequately protect the device. The new keyboard portion of the case has already suffered a tabletop level drop after the keyboard seam failed. the casing on the palm rest had detached and had to be reassembled. it's not quite what it was and never will be. The keyboard still works, but that's the lesson for me. The new case design is also limited in its capabilities compared to the old one. You cannot change the keyboard-to-ipad ratio so that the iPad is visible with the keyboard behind it. I found this design feature quite useful on the best old case. it doesn't exist with this new case.
