Bought this item for my parents who have 2 little kittens and a cute old chubby Russian Shorthair girl. Kittens can't get enough of this and it was all over before the build was even complete. kitty, right? The old cat was interested in her old grumpy image, but she doesn't get in and out as easily as sleek young kittens. The soul is will, but the thickness is real. The unit itself was very easy to assemble, with no surprises or difficulties. Can't comment on durability yet, but seems to withstand the ravages of a double kitty after 2 weeks of use.
