The king, he is the king!

I've been looking into stones again lately but have never had the opportunity to own or use a KING stone. That all changed a few months ago when I bought my first one and I was blown away by how great it was. Sure I've looked at reviews that have talked about them and how good they are, this and that, but if you're like me you know most. One of those is paid advertising, and while they were probably good, how good are they for someone who gets paid to say good things? Anyway, long story short, I needed a 300 grit for the repair as my finer grit diamond plates sometimes make me worry about how much material they remove, so I decided to give this KING a try as I love his loved others. Well today was that day and I finally tried it and it was on one of my D2 Tool Steel knives. Let me tell you this stone handled D2 steel with ease and I picked up the burr quickly. My blade had a few chips that I needed to fix and in the first step he did a great job removing those chips and making sure the cutting edge was ready for the next steps. If you have any doubts about this stone make no mistake it is a great stone and it worked well with amazing feedback and feel all around and of course as I mentioned my D2 blade makes it easy to work with. If you need a new 300 grit or so stone then you should buy this one too! The price is reasonable and with proper care and maintenance will serve you for a LONG time!
