No, this skirt is not denim. It's a soft cotton chambray, really decent quality and well made. It looks like a skirt at Dillards selling for over $100. I originally ordered a size M (I wear a size 6) but felt like I wanted it a little longer and with more volume so I went back to a size M and ordered a large. The tall skirt is a little loose in the waist but fits much better and falls just above my ankles and I'm 5ft 9in tall. This is an amazing skirt for the price. You are tall or carry your weight on your hips. I think the plus size fits a size 10 and extra large fits a size 12-14. I suspect the small size fits a size 0-2. They don't joke about unstretched waist sizes, so take a look.
