They are brighter than incandescent bulbs and there are no errors or hyperflares in my 2017 Focus RS. They were installed in the stern. The driver unit can be mounted on the body panel but it was difficult to find the correct position with the small space behind the light unit. They hug the light block snugly, but this has created a tight, weather-tight seal against the body. The LEDs appear to be tilted slightly towards the base, so I had to take some precautions to position them correctly. The driver block is larger than the terminators, but doesn't get hot. The only problem is that the connection of the driver to the original plug is not weatherproof. It simply plugs in like an incandescent light bulb, leaving it exposed to the elements. I just ended up with duct tape.
